Industrialization Engineer

Your main role

Reporting to the Product and Process Development Manager, your principal duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Actively contribute to the design, development, and industrialization activities for the valve and its accessories
  • Ensure the creation and update of detailed and assembly drawings of the product using CAD
  • Develop test method and tooling for design and process activities
  • Document and support Engineering Change Request, with supplier impact follow-up
  • Manage supply chain with suppliers and OEM: communicate forecast, place order and follow reception, inspection and non-conformity to release invoices when appropriate
  • Update manufacturing and design documentation (specifications, drawings, BOM, MFC, risk analysis, …)
  • Participate to the development of quality and regulatory documentation related to the technology and the manufacturing process
  • Interface with all partners involved in the development and manufacturing activities

Your profile

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (biomedical, mechanics, micro-technologies)
  • Min. 2 years’ experience as an engineer working with - medical devices, ideally in the cardiovascular industry – Senior welcome
  • Ability to design with CAD SolidWorks
  • Proven experience with product development
  • Consistent background and knowledge of the medical device industry regulations (ISO13485)
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical, surface treatment, material science
  • Rigor, attention to details, dedication, self-driven, and sense of responsibility
  • Ability and willingness to work in start-up environment
  • Good communication skills in English and French (German is a plus)
